Empower, Jr. Essential Oil Blend

Empower, Jr. Child Safe Essential Oil Blend is a select roll-on blend of essential oils including: 

Grapefruit (Citrus Paradisi), Lime (Citrus aurantifolia), Black Pepper (Piper nigrum) and Eucalyptus Radiata (Eucalyptus Radiata) in a base of fractionated coconut oil. (Diluted at 2%)

This oil blend may be used to aid with focus and attention. 

Stimulating, diuretic, anti-fungal, antiviral (Price, 83, 91, 244, 245).

Depression, fatigue, mental alertness, acne, antibacterial, antiseptic, cellulite, diuretic, headache, muscle pain and stiffness, oily hair, oily skin, antiviral, arthritis, bactericidal, bronchitis, cellulite, chilblains, circulatory health, cold, cold sore, cough, fever, insect bites, rheumatism, sinus infection, wounds, analgesic, antifungal, flu, migraine, digestive aid, healthy kidney function (Althea Press, 287, 325, 337, 359).

Cellulite, diuretic, colds, bactericidal, antiviral, flu, bronchitis, antiseptic, wounds, burns, rheumatism, muscle aches (Davis, 115, 134-135).

Travel fatigue, jet lag, contracts and tones tissue, oily skin, acne, disperses lactic acid in lard-worked muscles, eases muscle stiffness, muscle soreness, muscle fatigue, cleansing effect on kidneys, cleansing effect on liver, cleansing effect on gallbladder, smooths the skin, insect bites, sore throat, bronchitis, coughs, throat infections, colds, influenza, muscle aches, arthritis, rheumatism, poor muscle tone, chilblains, poor circulation, pain, flush lactic acid, stimulates digestive systems, aids digestion, kills bacteria, reduce fever, sinusitis, throat infections (Purchon, 41, 55, 63, 77-78).

Inhalation: It is not recommended to diffuse this oil blend, the carrier oil base could clog your diffuser.

Internal:  Although the quality of Selah Oils is excellent, it is not advised to take essential oils internally unless under the guidance of a certified physician who is also certified in aromatherapy. We recommend getting internal dosing instructions from a licensed physician as some essential oils are not recommended for oral consumption. This is in no way a reflection on our oil quality, only a matter of safety and caution with respect to how concentrated essential oils are. When used within safe parameters, and under your physician's care, the quality of our essential oils is such that they can be used internally if deemed appropriate.

However, with that said, it is important to remember the extreme concentration of essential oils. "Using essential oils by rubbing them into the skin or via inhalation is in many cases more effective than oral delivery" (Schnaubelt 96).

Grapefruit: There is a low risk of photoxicity. Avoid direct sunlight for 12 hours after application.

May cause skin sensitization if oxidized. To prevent oxidation, store in a dark, airtight container in a refrigerator.

Lime: If oil is oxidized, it could cause skin irritation.

Black Pepper: Can cause extreme skin irritation. Dilute well.

Eucalyptus Radiata: Do not apply to or near the face of infants and children under the age of 10 (can cause breathing problems in babies and young children). 

Avoid using this oil with homeopathics.

Use with caution if breastfeeding.

If for any reason you get essential oils in your eyes, put carrier oil along the eyebrows above the eyes and on the cheekbones below the eyes.

Do not put essential oils inside the ear canal.
